Serial no. for old Chevy truck engine

I bought a 1950 Chevy pu truck that is not running. The serial no on the engine that I located next to the oil dipstick reads; 0945635F547. According to the Internet on 216 cu in Chevy engines the motor should start with 2 or 3 letters before the numbers. Can anyone help on the engine cu in size and year as I need parts for it....thanks!
