I took the best picture I could, and this is it. The two stamps are frustrating because they are right on top of each other. I can see the partial vin, it reads T9Z 524529. I believe the T stands for GMC, the 9 stands for 1979, and the Z stands for the assembly plant GMAD FREMONT, and the 524529 is the partial vin, which is great because that means my engine is #'s matching to my truck :).
Now what I cant read, is the stamp under it, which I think is the engine code. So far, it looks like V, something, something, 0, 1, 9, B, X. Frustrating :mad:
