Hoping someone can help me out. I bought my truck 2 years ago. I was told it's a 350 .30 Over. Pretty sure he said 2 bolt main. The guy said he built the engine him self. well I was looking over the block the other day at the engine codes, And I can't find anything on the engine. The back code is 8970010. I seen some people say the 8 may look like a 3 but i can see it plane as day that this is a 8. The front code is LYC no luck there too. So I pulled the vavle cover off and I got the numbers off of it and there the made in Mexico heads off of a Gm Goodwrench creat motor. Well the guy i got the truck off of told me that they was made in Mexico. So could the block be a GM GoodWrench? This is making me mad I been a mechanic for over 15 years and this is the frist one i ever could not find
