$4,000 budget 4.8L turbo swap

I have a $4k budget and rather than buy a new car( can't part ways from this lil nova) id like to build up a 4.8L ls engine with a turbo for the fall. I've found a 4.8L complete intake to oil pan for $400. thts the foundation. it has just over 97,xxx miles. I've been reading alot of forums about a single turbo on the stock bottom end and think id like to go tht route. I kno I will have to re-ring the piztons and get new rod bolts.

Im not looking to run 10lbs+ of boost. just something very streetable as a daily driver. could all of the neccesary changes b covered within this budget? (trans,converting to efi, electronics)
