Hi,
I'm considering buying a SBC 383 with the following specifications:
- 1987+ 4 bolt main block
- forged 4340 crank
- Crower rods
- SRP forged pistons, flattops with 5cc valverelief
- AFR 195 street port heads with 75cc chamber
- Crower 00483 hydraulic roller cam (221/230 deg @ 0,050", 114 lobe center, lobe lift 0,350"/0,363")
- 1.6 ratio rockers.
The SCR should be 11-1.
I'm planning to use a FIRST fuel injection manifold with the ECU from a 1987 vette.
But my main concern is that this combo will have too high CR to run on pump gas 93-94 octane (or 99 octane RON Europe)
Its going into a 1987 vette with an auto.
