Hi haven't been on here in awhile but I need some advice so I had to come to the best. I have 77 f150 4x4. I restored and just started driving. I built a 351 c 2 bbl for it. 4 speed manual. 3.66? gears 9-1 comp. 280 grind comp cam. ( I think I might have to put a smaller one in). Mad distributor 6a. Blaster coil. Performer dual plane. Aftermarket springs. Headers. 750 edelbrock. Its falling on its face until. 1700- 1900 rpms really bad. Adjusted accelerator with no change. I think the carb is too big. I've changed metering rods and tuned it the best I could I've also changed advance springs around to see if that'll help. Nothing really makes a big difference. Is my can to big. What should I have for initial timing overall timing. Should that carb work better than it is or do I just need a good smaller one. Are demon carbs good ive lot of rrecommendations for them. Vacuum or mechanical secondarys. Sorry for the long post had a lot of info to give out
