Bbc oil use

I have 454 with about 500 miles on a fresh rebuild.
It will use a quart of oil every 100 miles but its not smoking
And not dripping. I've changed pcv and compression is good
Have done a leak down test yet but will soon. Any other ideas
I am using chrome Molly rings.
