My son and I installed a GM crate 350/4 bolt 290 HP engine in his car a few years ago and it's rarely driven. A few months ago we noticed a detonation issue when the engine was bogging a little - climbing a hill and pressing the gas as an example. It's very annoying not to mention harmful to the engine.
