I went to adjust a new carb on an engine and heard an intermittent rattle. I checked the usual suspects and found it to be the checkball in the PCV valve. I replaced it with another PCV and it rattled as well.
The other valve cover held a restricted breather from edelbrock. All was brand new.
Any ideas on what is going on?
the engine ran well, not 100% - it is brand new going thru debugging - but a normal person would think it ran great.
