1) I just purchased a 1947 chev dev sedan, with a 454 B&M blower.
2) The carb was a edelbrock, I have since purchased a Holley 850 built for a blower.
3) I found a air leek in the carb adapter plate to the blower gasket which I am replacing.
4) I found that almost all of the hardware was lose on the blower and plate.
5) I was told that my upper and lower wheels for the belt were wrong and the motor was over blown.
6) The blower intake looks like it has been grooved for a o ring.
#2) so I can buy the correct parts how do I identify the size of the blower?
#3) should I go with a gasket or a o ring?
#4) what torque should the adapter plate to the blower be?
#5) the top wheel is approximately 4.5 inches dia. The lower wheel is approximately 7 1/4 dia. I what a dependable boost for the street and a little track. what lb boost should it be? and are the wheels the right size?
