Edelbrock vs Wieand

I was thumbing through the summit catalog, checking out what's available for vortec-style intakes for the SBC..

I'm undecided between the Edelbrock Peformer RPM, and the Performer RPM Air-Gap.. but having said that..

Weiand has intakes that would appear to be comparable in specs .. but a fair bit cheaper.. does anyone have any experience with wieand intakes?

I am kinda partial to Edelbrock since they're made in the U.S.A
