Yaay I made it on after years of reading forums now I can particpate. I have a sbc 406 in a 1986 4x4 truck I would like to have more power pulling and driving. What is in the engine is as follows:

Sbc 400 bored 30 over
5.65 rods with hyper pistons
200cc rhs iron18 degree heads 64 cc with 2.02/1.60
Speed pro cam 1013 or 1014 specs are 206/214 at 050
Lift 420/442
1.6 rocker arm ration with comp cams rockers
3.73 ring and pinion with 700 r4 automatic with stock torque converter
1/5/8 flowtech long tube headers
Qudrajet carb
Tires size 235 75 15
Vaccum advance with smaller springs and adjustable advance
Finally 3rd replaced starter after broken noses

I can see that this setup can drink the fuel but even with stock heads I got same mpg so if I'm going to get 7mpg mites as well be a brutally strong
