I would like to know if anyone has done this on a TBI engine. I would like to do a carb swap and get rid of the tbi. I know there are things that need to be done to accomplish the carb swap, but my main concern is building the 383.
What would you guys recommend for parts? I was looking at an Eagle kit which provides me with pistons, crank, rods, rings, bearing, harmonic balancer etc.
What about heads, cam, intake and carb? What would you guys suggest if I want to achieve the 400-450hp mark?
Budget: $3000 bucks im hoping, maybe more? I will be building it myself, so this is a budget for parts only.
