New engine, has been running fine, still in the tuning stage. Went for an easy test drive, didn't get over 2200 RPM. Noticed some blue smoke out of left exhaust when I started it. It went away immediately after starting then got real bad on return drive! Drove for about 2 miles round trip. Seemed to be running ok except for when it started smoking. Pulled into the garage n it filled garage with heavy blue smoke. Shut it off as soon as I pulled in. Oil was dripping out of left exhaust at a good rate and not as bad as out of right exhaust.
Pulled the plugs to do a compression test and a leak down. Never got to leak down. Cranked it about 2 turns with compression tester in number 1 and #7 squirted out oil like it'd been filled with oil. Shot out about 5 feet! Looked at plug holes and seen that 7, 4, and 8 were pumping out oil. In the process of getting it ready to pull the engine I removed the headers and could see oil in exhaust ports of all cylinders. There was also a lot of oil at the rear of the intake manifold.
Is it possible that the 6-71 blower pressurized the engine?
Turned the PVC line down n in less than 10 minutes had this oil puddle run out.
