I just acquired a car that has an electric red holley fuel pump and also a holley mechanical fuel pump. Electric plumbed into mechanical fuel pump currently, has up to 10 or 11 psi of pressure at idle and 7 1/2 to 9 when running at hwy speeds It is a sbc with edlebrock carb. My question is, can I just put plugs in mechanical fuel pump in and out ports without causing damage instead of removing mechanical fuel pump all together for now.
