Now this is going to sound dumb but here goes. I put a BLUEPRINT 383 Stroker crate engine in my 34 Chevy. Engine runs great and works great. The engine has the dip stick on the passenger side, came already installed and all is good there. Went to a car show today (about 80 miles on the motor) and some fellow said my dip stick blew out. The hole he pointed out is on the drivers side. The hole is in about the same position as the dip stick on the passenger side but its open. (I assume I only need one dipstick. lol) It seems a small amount of oil is blowing out of this EXTRA hole! The hole is not tapped so no threads but looks just like an alternate dip stick hole. Can I get a plug for this that pushes in instead of threading in just like a dip stick tube does?
I never ran into this before so I am a bit lost.
