I have a small block 383 sbc 500hp/500tq coming in the beginning of August... its going into a 57 chevy truck. I have a th350 laying on the floor it had before.... and I have a 4l60e in a 99 Tahoe.... i know a place that can build me a 700r4 for 1300 - 1400 that can handle the power output...
My question is which transmission would you recommend would be the best due to your experiences?.... its not gonna be used for racing....im thinking the 700r4 would be hassle free due to the electronics of the 4l60e and overdrive over the th350....
Not a daily driver but is a weekend toy..
