Ok I am on here for a friend of mine who is totally loast as to what is going on with his 1931 Cheve Roadster. I do realize I may be on the incorrect forum to be asking this but going to give it a try anyway.
His 31 cheve roadster is a 6 cykinder 55 horse original motor and for whatever reason does not want to run well when the the throttle is applied.
Starts and idles fine but when you press on the pedal it just coughs and sputters. revs up and down and on occasion just quits.
carb seemds fine and they even put an old one on that ran fine when it was removed and replaced with a rebuilt one.
fuels pump changes and redid the ignition. also has a new coil however still no luck.
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
