Good Day Rodders,
I have a 1970 Chevy Nova with a stock inline six (250) 3spd auto
since its a numbers matching car, I am planning on keeping the six
in it. After reading a few threads I am leaning towards doing the following....
CLIFFORD INTAKE MANIFOLD-
STOVEBOLT EXHAUST MANIFOLD
EDELBROCK 1404 (500cfm) carb
I have already changed over to HEI distributor

Now comes the questions.

With this set up, what brand and size cam would you choose, and why?

Can I do all of the above without boring the block and changing the stock pistons (engine has good compression and doesnt smoke)
would like to do this without sending it out for block work.

Thoughts on a choice of harmonic balancer (existing one wobbles)

Thanks for any info you have. Want to do this right the first time out.
