I have a 350sb and 700r4 in my 1950 chevy pickup project. I'd like to put an "H" or "X" crossover in the exhaust, but the only space to do so is under the transmission pan. Question is how much clearance do I need? I'm not worried about working on tranny cause I can unbolt and drop the exhaust. I'm only concerned about heat. Would 2" be enough? Any thoughts would be appreaciated.
