sbc 383 build questions about later supercharging

Ok folks I know I don't get on here much anymore and to tell you the truth my last photojournal entry was pretty much the last time I touched the truck. I switched jobs now and once everything is back on track there I'm going to finally put all my new goodies on itso Ill probably start ordering the few bits left to finish. So that brings me to my actual question I still need to order the rotating assembly for my 383 and a shift kit for the good trans, and source a good gm 8.5" ten bolt until I get the cash for the 9" ford and a few other little things but I would like to build this engine once instead of having to. swap out parts when I get it in another year or so. I do realize Ill be sacrificing some power. with the s thiro but in the long run I'm saving time and money and will have more power. th a I need (isn't that the point though?). So now I will lay out my parts andplans some of these parts will be switched I'm just throwing out the plan I came up with a few years ago when Igot the truck. as of now I have a 2pc. rms 350 block bored .30 over but she's been a 355 so I'm sure it'll be bumped to .40 over at least, I h ave a choice of 650cfm, 750cfm edelbrock carbs or a quadrajet (mileage and power don't bash them they're great when they work right) or a vac seconday 650 holley. I have a knock off airgap manifold from pro-tec (hey it was free and brand new) a set of vortec heads clearanced for higher lift cam. Got a set of 1.5:1 and 1.6:1 roller rockers. accel distributor with msd module and accel super coil. As far as cams go I have a selection there also I have a lunati bracket master2 #00016 cam which if I remember the specs isn't that big and also an rv cam not sure on the specs there and also another really roudy cam that,of course I don't remember exact specs but I believe the lift is around .515 with 1.5 rockers but I'm not sure since I got it from a dirt track racer that doesn't exactly know as much as he thinks to be polite so ill probably get a different cam (recommendations?). I was thinking something like 1800-2500 stall converter and maybe 3.55ish rear end gearing (again advice here would be helpful) truck weighs in at 2800 lbs. as is and she's running around on 245 65 15s. I'm wondering what pistons I need to get decent power now and not too much compression for reduced detonation and what would be a good cam for this also, I'm trying to keep my power down low and use pump gas with at most some octane booster. Is this a realistic set up or am I way off also this will be a driver not just a race only type deal thanks in advance......happy rodding!!
