1968 Dodge 383 runs real rough , missing

Folks, I have an issue that is really pissing me off.
Got my brakes working great, so took it for a drive at speeds higher than 30 (or atleast that was the plan).
As I began to accelerate, my motor started acting like it was running on 5 cylinders. I mean shaking like it was trying to come out of the car. I tried adjusting the carb richer/leaner/different combinations of butterfly positions, I tried advancing the timing/retarding it, and every combination of fuel and timing I could. I could get it to idle and die when in gear then adjust it to idle at 1100 and be rich enough to shoot flames if I held a lighter to tailpipe.
I reset the carb to run as clean as I could without being too lean and set initial timing to 15* which is where it runs best at idle. I ran a jumper to the coil to try a full 12v, and there was no noticeable difference.
For the life of me, I can not get it to run well enough to drive higher than 25mph or do wot or even quarter throttle.

I could really use the help on this.

Motor: 1968 Dodge 383.
Intake: Mopar Performance single plane
Carb: Mighty Demon 750 rebuilt with 35 PV.
Ign: Stock style coil, stock electronic dist, Jegs black ICU, Jegs 8mm wires, Autolite 86 plugs.

Trans: 727tf w/stall speed ~1500.

Oil pressure @idle: 40psi
Vacuum @idle: 11 in Hg.
Idle speed in park: 1100
Idle speed in gear: ~700
