Is it ok to sit rebuilt Eng/Tran on tires

I want to bolt my newly rebuild engine and transmission together and install them as one. In the meantime, I was wondering if it is ok, after I bolt them together, to sit them on tires. I have seen engine/trans pulled and sit on tires awaiting rebuild. What about after rebuild while waiting to install.
