Got my new Weiand Action+ waterpump today, and the aluminum pulley interference with one of the heater hose outlets on the pump, so what do I do? Complain & return is not an option, as I live in Norway.
On the leaky Allstar pump, the samme pulley fit perfect.
Shim out the pulley? The alignment was perfect with the old pump, so I don't want to do that. Unless the pulley on the new pump is too far back, of course.
Carefully grind some off both the pump and the pulley? That's what I think will be best.
Other suggestions?
